The Third Annual Burton Hollow Club Tennis Tournament
When: August 12 & 13
Fri: 7 pm & Sat: 12:00 noon - ?
We will use Friday evening for preliminaries.
Where: The Courts, of course
Other: Entry fee is $12 for each player. Each player receives a Burton Hollow T-shirt. Winners’ names will be posted on a plaque to be displayed at the Club. There will be separate tournaments for boys / girls and three age divisions:
Junior, Intermediate, Open
** In the case that too many or too few people sign up, brackets may be adjusted.
Time: Draws will be set up and posted at the club by August 10th, at 5:00PM
Each player should bring one un-opened can of balls.
If necessary, matches may be scheduled off site to accommodate as many players as possible.
Format: one 5 game set per match. Finals will be one 8 game set.
How to Sign Up: Sign-up sheet on the bulletin board or call Katy or James by AUG 9TH.
***Make checks out to Burton Hollow Swim Club on the day of event.
Many people have asked James to continue with the daytime lessons... so he will be there Tuesdays and Thursdays
Session 2: Tuesdays & Thursdays ~ July 19 - Aug 4
Session 2: Mondays & Wednesdays ~ July 18 - Aug. 3
Beginner: 6:00 - 6:45 pm
Intermediate: 7:00 - 8:00 pm

Diving Lessons -
Tom Papp will be teaching diving on Tuesdays & Thursdays. $5 per lesson or $10 per family per lesson.

Games to 30 by ones (win by 2) with 1 hour time limit. Rainouts will be rescheduled. When short of players, team may pick up player but forfeit game.
Teams will play 3 on 3 (6 man maximimum on roster) Non Members to pay guest fee $2.00/night, $20.00/season.
Burton Hollow 3 on 3 Basketball Invitational
August 13th, games start at 10 am
Colony, Burton Hollow, Fairway Farms, Newburgh & Northville will be invited to participate.
• Age 18+
• 5 members/staff max. per roster
• Double elimination bracket will be used
• $10 per team entry fee collected at the door.
• Complimentary hot dogs, brats & athletic beverages will be available.
• Games played by 1’s and 2’s to 15 points.
Sign-up sheets will be turned into Rob Hadden on Friday evening, Aug 12th.

Volleyball -
Kara Kapinski will be teaching volleyball fundamentals starting on June 27 for 4 weeks. Off on July 4th.
Ages 6-10 will practice from 5:30pm to 6:30pm
Ages 10+ will practice from 6:45pm to 7:45pm
Cost is $20.00 per student payable to BHSC.
One make up week in case of bad weather. Kara also offers private lessons for individuals who are interested. See Kara for details
