Welcome to the 2026 BHSC Season!
Dear BHSC Members,
The Burton Hollow Swim Club (BHSC) Board has been hard at work preparing for another fantastic season of sun, fun, and memories. Due to this year’s holiday schedule, we are excited to announce an additional week of swim club access for our members!
Farewell & Thank You
On behalf of the general membership, we extend our deepest gratitude to our outgoing board members for their years of dedicated service:
- Andrea Ricotta (Former Treasurer): Skillfully navigated the club through the challenges of COVID-19 and rising operational costs.
- Allison Kava (Former Vice President): Modernized our systems by streamlining waitlist applications, implementing online payments, and introducing fan-favorite events like Kids’ Night Out.

Join the Board: We are seeking a member to fill the Pool & Building position (one-year commitment). Outgoing lead Tony Villella will partner with the new volunteer to ensure a smooth transition. Interested? Email [email protected].
Facility Updates & Work Bees
Facility Assessment: The Board is conducting a professional assessment of our buildings and grounds to guide our capital investment strategy and ensure long-term repair funds are spent wisely.
2026 Work Bee Schedule:
Complete four (4) hours of adult labor (18+) to receive a refund of your $150 assessment.
- Pre-Work Bee: Saturday, May 2
- Main Work Bee: Saturday, May 9
- Rain Date: Saturday, May 16
New Social Alternative: You may now earn your Work Bee refund by partnering with another owner to plan and run one summer social event. A SignUpGenius will be sent in March. Questions? Email [email protected].
Operations & Staffing
- Hiring News: Club Manager Ashlyn Doner and the HR Committee are busy hiring! We have 16 returning guards and 2 snack bar staff transitioning to guard roles.
- Join the Team: The application is live on our website for anyone interested in lifeguarding or working the snack bar.
2026 Season Hours (May 22 – Sept 7):
- Opening Day (May 22): 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Pre-Season (May 23 – June 3): Weekdays 4–8 p.m. | Weekends 12–10 p.m.
- Full Summer (June 4 – Aug 23): Daily 12:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Late Season (Aug 24 – Sept 6): Weekdays 4–8 p.m. | Weekends 12–10 p.m.
- Labor Day (Sept 7): 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
> Note: The pool will be closed during home swim meets. Dates will be posted on our website.
Important Reminders
- Check-In: All members must check in via MemberSplash. Please update your family info; contact Becky at [email protected] for account help.
- Guest Policy: Fees must be paid via MemberSplash or at the front desk (credit/debit). Guests must wear wristbands and complete a one-time online insurance waiver before arrival.
- Dues & Transfers: Dues are due April 1st. If you plan to sell your membership, please complete the online transfer form as soon as possible.
Swim Team & Lessons
The Burton Hollow Dolphins are back!
- Coaching: We bid a fond farewell to Head Coach Marla Kepsel and welcome Coach Owen into the lead role! Assistant coach applications will be on the website soon.
- Key Dates: First meet is June 23; League Meet is July 25–26 at Northville Swim Club.
- Lessons: Available for members and waitlist families. Schedules and registration will be posted on MemberSplash closer to the season.
